FOUNDATION & HISTORY  
Textile Technology Program, 2002 - 2003 Academic year and the first students were registered in 2004, gave its first graduates. The first continuing education training, depending on when the Department of Technical Programs, this program created a new building in 2009, according to the system as a result of the ISCED-97 Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Department, this program incorporated alınmıştır.60 student quotas until the end of 2010 more than 200 textile graduated technician.
QUALIFICATION AWARDED

ADMISSION & REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS  
1 - The admission and registration requirements under the legislation of the Turkish Higher Education yapılmaktadır.Programa area vocational school graduates are admitted without examination within the quota for this program. Registration requirements are the same as higher input system

1. Principles of Ataturk and History of Spring term of the class-2, Foreign Language-2, the Turkish Language-2, Professional Math-2, Production Planning, Garment Production-2, Pattern Making Techniques-2 courses,
2. Ready to Wear Fall Semester Class Generation-3, Pattern Making Techniques-3, Basic Design, Apparel Quality Control, Research Methods and Techniques, Professional Foreign Language, Drapaj, Professional Experience-1 lessons,
2. Clothing Technical Drawing class Spring term, Project Preparation, Male Clothing Pattern Making Techniques, Men's Clothing Manufacturing, Children's Clothes Patterns, Children's Clothing Manufacturing, Professional Experience-2 classes will be studied
RECOGNATION of PRIOR LEARNING  
The "Directive on Recognition of Prior Learning", Senate Decision No. 340 issued on July 28, 2023, has been accepted and entered into force regarding the students registered in all programs of Karadeniz Technical University to determine the principles to be followed for the recognition, crediting, and adaptation of the achievements acquired by the students at non-university institutions.

In this Directive,

- recognition of knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired with special interest through an exemption exam to be substituted as program courses,
- recognition of workplace and internship experiences through portfolio evaluation to be substituted as program courses,
- and the crediting of certificates received from accredited institutions regarding students' special interests are covered.

Announcements of courses included in the scope of recognition of prior learning, applications, and evaluation will be made on the dates specified in the academic calendar. Recognition of prior learning will offer numerous benefits to our students and employers. For our students, increasing professional development and mobility in the labour market, preventing repetition of education and waste of time, providing early graduation, reducing the cost of learning, encouraging learning, and increasing the student's motivation and self-confidence can be counted among the benefits of recognition of prior learning. From the employers' perspectives, it will contribute to satisfying skill or competence deficiencies in the workplace, reducing the time employees spend outside the workplace for training purposes, and thus using resources more efficiently.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS and REGULATIONS  
Two years (four semesters), the education - academic and professional internship programs have successfully completed all courses, students will receive pre-graduate degree.
EXAMINATION, ASSESSMENT and GRADING REGULATIONS  
Students mid-term exam for each course, semester work (projects, seminars, quizzes, homework, or a second mid-term) and are subject to the final exam. Success grade, 30% midterm, final, final examination 50% to 20% in the studies may have been contributed. All exams are evaluated over 100 points in absolute notation. Final exam are required to obtain at least 45 points. Final note translated into letter grades. A student (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC), letter grades are considered to have managed one of the students taking the course. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

OCCUPATIONAL PROFILES of GRADUATES  
Textile technicians, textile and garment producing and using information in the work of public institutions and organizations and the private sector are employed. The private sector enterprises in the textile, garment and apparel businesses, the public sector, particularly community colleges and vocational technical secondary education, vocational training centers and textile laboratories are employed in higher education
ACCESS to FURTHER STUDIES  
Two-year graduates of this program, made ; ;by the vertical transition OSYM Art Parts Clothing Industry can continue to the end of exams. In addition, all graduates from the Open Education Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and bachelor's degree completion opportunities to continue itiren Parts bulunmakatadır third grade.

1 Clothing Clothing Laboratory Technician working staff.
Section vocational courses in the laboratory is working on the 1 piece 1 piece Clothing Laboratory mevcuttur.Bu computerized vending machine buttonholes, n.1 computerized vending machine buttons, 16 sheets of plain industrial sewing machine, 1 3 thread overlock, 1 5-thread overlock, 1 lace-rubber stitch, 1 skirt-band stitch, 1 round blade cutter, 1 has one 4-head embroidery machine.
Part time students with work to do in this lab by technicians working in the open are saatlaeri.
The second lab section, Computerized Pattern and Design laboratory. Computerized system ASSYST mold design system used in the NEDGRAPHİCS programs.
In addition, the General Information Classes of 60 people, 3 units, technology-equipped (projection) is the class.
